Experienced Chef Cook Needed for Söderhamn 1620 Söderhamn 1620 is looking for an experienced and independent chef cook who truly knows their craft. We are looking for someone with substantial experience from restaurant kitchens who is confident across all aspects of the work – from prep work and mise en place to cooking, plating, and service under high-pressure conditions. At our restaurant, we work with high-quality ingredients and serve, among other things, meat, fish, shellfish, oysters, and other dishes where quality and presentation are paramount. We are looking for you who: Have documented experience as a chef cook. Are self-motivated and can take responsibility for a station and service. Have very good knowledge of preparing meat and fish. Have experience with shellfish and preferably oysters. Mastery of sauces, accompaniments, mise en place, and professional plating. Can work efficiently under high tempo without compromising on quality. Have a good understanding of hygiene, ingredient handling, and kitchen organization. Can collaborate with other chefs and restaurant staff. Are thorough, reliable, and take pride in your craft. This is not a position for a beginner. We are looking for a chef cook who already masters their profession and can enter the kitchen and deliver at a high level.
