Zushi is a restaurant in central Malmö specializing in Asian cuisine, primarily Japanese dishes. Our offerings include table service, catering, and take-away, and we are constantly committed to delivering a high-quality dining experience. We are currently in an exciting expansion phase and are therefore looking for two skilled and passionate chefs who want to be part of our team and help take Zushi to the next level. About the Position As a chef with us, you will have an important role in the kitchen and be responsible for: Preparing and cooking high-quality meals, with a focus on sushi and other Japanese dishes. Planning and developing menus together with the team. Managing the procurement of raw materials and ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. Maintaining high standards for food hygiene and safety in the kitchen. Ensuring that work adheres to the budget set by the restaurant manager. Inspiring with creative ideas and contributing suggestions for new and exciting dishes to expand our menu. We have many kitchen staff members with Vietnamese as their native language, which makes Vietnamese language skills a merit. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone who has: At least two years of experience working in an Asian restaurant. Solid knowledge of Japanese cuisine and its ingredients. A strong ability to work under pressure and at a fast pace. A collaborative and positive attitude.
