Tavino Nytorget is now seeking an engaged and experienced chef for our Italian restaurant at Bondegatan 44, near Nytorget on Södermalm in Stockholm. We work with Italian flavors and dishes with a focus on, among other things, fresh pasta, wood-fired pizza and other classic Italian dishes. We are looking for someone who enjoys working at a fast pace, takes responsibility and wants to be part of a professional kitchen team. Responsibilities As a chef with us, you will among other things: prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant's menu and procedures work with pasta, pizza, sauces, meat, fish and other ingredients ensure good quality and presentation of the food work with mise en place and preparations before service follow procedures for hygiene, food safety and self-inspection keep the kitchen clean and organized collaborate with other staff in the kitchen and restaurant contribute to an efficient workflow during both calm and intensive shifts We are looking for someone who has experience working as a chef, preferably from an Italian restaurant has good knowledge of cooking and kitchen work can work independently and take responsibility is thorough, stress-resistant and flexible has good collaboration skills can work evenings and weekends has a genuine interest in food and quality Experience with Italian cooking, fresh pasta or pizza is a merit.
