We are looking for a person who loves cooking and has an eye for details. You should be flexible and able to work days, evenings, and weekends. Your main responsibilities are to prepare food from scratch, assist our head chef, cover shifts, prepare food for the upcoming day, and be skilled at mise en place. You should be able to perform self-inspections and have good financial thinking regarding the kitchen. It is also important to be thorough, organized, and able to work while keeping your surroundings clean and tidy—facility maintenance and cleaning are also important. We at Belgobaren are more like a family and therefore place great importance on personal qualities and chemistry. We hope the employment will start as soon as possible. Responsibilities: ● Prepare well-cooked food ● Plating ● Ordering supplies ● Mise en place ● Maintain financial control of the kitchen budget ● Receive goods ● Dishwashing ● Handling according to food safety regulations and applicable self-inspections ● Temperature checks and food sampling ● Cleaning ● Cardboard/packaging management and waste disposal ● Ensuring everything in the kitchen is clean and tidy at the end of the day We are looking for you who: You need to be stress-resistant, flexible, and thorough as we have a lot to do.
