ABOUT THE POSITION We are seeking a dedicated social pedagogue for Vintertullsskolan – a resource school for students with neuropsychiatric disabilities, grades 7–9. As a social pedagogue with us, you work as a class teacher and follow a class throughout the school day. You are a trusted adult who is present with students in the classroom, during breaks, and during transitions between activities, and you work closely with teachers, student support services, and school leadership to help each student reach their full potential. This is a full-time substitute position for the spring term 2027. There is an opportunity to start in late December to work alongside the current class teacher and receive a thorough introduction. ABOUT VINTERTULLSSKOLAN Vintertullsskolan is one of Stockholm's oldest resource schools and has worked for over 25 years supporting students with neuropsychiatric disabilities, primarily autism spectrum disorder. RESPONSIBILITIES Follow a class throughout the school day as class teacher and support students in their learning, individually and in groups. Maintain ongoing contact with guardians regarding students' school day experiences. Support students during transitions, breaks, and schedule breaks. Contribute to a safe and studious environment through clear structure, predictability, and relationship-building work. Provide input to student support services regarding students in your class. WE ARE LOOKING FOR You who have a social pedagogy degree or other education and experience that we assess as equivalent. You who have experience working with youth with NPF and adjust your approach based on the student's circumstances. You who are calm, attentive, and clear when interacting with students and guardians. You who work independently and take initiative throughout the school day. You who are communicative and collaborate effectively with others both within and outside the organization. You who contribute to a good work environment characterized by safety, care, and respect for both staff and students at the school.
