We are now looking for an edge press operator for our sheet metal department in Markaryd. Here you will have an important role in our manufacturing in an operation characterized by high quality, modern technology, and continuous improvements.
A Day on the Job
As an edge press operator with us, you work with the production of sheet metal parts for our products. Based on drawings and work instructions, you independently set up and program the machine, perform the edge pressing, and ensure that the parts meet our quality requirements. The work involves continuous measurement, inspection, and adjustments to achieve the right results.
You work independently at your machine while being an important part of the team in the sheet metal department and contributing to a safe, efficient, and quality-focused way of working.
Working time is arranged in 2-shift operations. Tasks are performed on a performance-based pay system (piecework).
Does This Sound Like You?
We are looking for someone with good technical understanding who enjoys work where precision, quality, and personal responsibility are a natural part of everyday tasks. You can read and understand drawings and apply them to practical work.
We would like to see that you have experience with edge pressing or other sheet metal processing in the manufacturing industry. Experience in drawing reading and measurement techniques is a merit. Additionally, a forklift certification would be a plus.
