Manufacturing family business since 1960. The company develops and manufactures its own products, with the entire workflow from raw materials to finished products under one roof. They are leaders in the manufacturing of road barriers, road lighting, posts, masts, and railings. Their specialty areas are hot-dip galvanizing, painting, welding, and assembly. Everything continues to be produced today from the production facility in Smålandsstenar with the third generation running the operation. The entire material flow from raw materials to finished hot-dip galvanized products is manufactured under one roof. As an edge brake operator/press operator, you work with the manufacturing and forming of sheet metal according to drawings. You are responsible for setting up and operating the edge brake/press, as well as ensuring that parts meet the correct quality and dimensions. The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues in production. Handles bending lengths up to 6.2 meters and a press force of 800 tons. You are responsible for: Reading and interpreting technical drawings Setting and adjusting machines Ensuring that parts meet the correct dimensions and quality Performing ongoing quality control Contributing to an efficient and structured production flow The work requires precision, technical interest, and a sense for accuracy. We are looking for you: Have experience with panel/edge bending Have experience reading drawings Are quality-conscious and take responsibility Enjoy working independently but also as part of a team Have a positive attitude and want to develop long-term Have a pallet truck certificate and forklift license Fluent Swedish in speech and writing The idea with this assignment is that it starts as a temporary placement through J1 Bemanning, and then transitions into permanent employment with the client company. Working hours are during daytime.
