Svalövsbygdens pastorat is seeking an office administrator with a focus on cemetery and burial administration.
Are you passionate about administration and service? Are you meticulous, organized, and comfortable interacting with people? We are now looking for an office administrator with a primary focus on cemetery and burial administration for Svalövsbygdens pastorat.
About the position
As an office administrator, you will have a central administrative role within the pastorat's burial operations. The work is varied and involves independent case handling and close collaboration with the cemetery director, the parish minister, colleagues, and visitors. In this role, you will, among other things, administer everything from grave maintenance agreements, contact with grave rights holders, register new grave sites, burial certificates, and receive calls and visitors during office hours. The position also includes other administrative tasks and serving as support to the organization's various decision-making bodies.
This is a permanent position with an initial probationary period of six months. The position is full-time (100%).

You enjoy working independently within your area of responsibility. You are skilled at planning and driving your work forward with clear structure and good prioritization. You have strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, and good computer skills, including experience with Microsoft 365. We would appreciate if you have several years of experience with administrative tasks.
Experience with burial administration, work with cemetery and grave rights matters, KBOK, and FAS is a plus. You meet people with compassion and share the values of the Church of Sweden.
About Svalövsbygdens pastorat
Svalövsbygdens pastorat consists of three congregations (Svalöv, Billeberga-Sireköpinge, and Teckomatorp) and encompasses nine churches with associated cemeteries and congregation facilities. Svalöv is located within reasonable commuting distance from Helsingborg in the north to Malmö in the south. The pastorat's office is centrally located in Svalöv, within walking distance from the train station.
