Ogres novada pašvaldība (Reg. No. 90000024455) announces a competition for a vacant position of Legal Counsel at the Ogres Municipal Construction Authority (Būvvalde) of the Ogres Municipal Administration's Central Office. Requirements for Candidates: - Academic higher education or second-level professional higher education in legal sciences, with a lawyer's qualification corresponding to the fifth level of professional qualification; - Professional work experience in a legal counsel position (preference given to experience in municipal administration (construction authority) or state administration); - Knowledge of regulatory legal acts regarding construction and property rights matters (Administrative Procedure Law, Civil Law, Property Rights); - Ability to independently and responsibly plan, organize, and perform legal counsel duties and prepare documents in accordance with document management and construction regulatory requirements; - Computer and information system skills at user level (MS Office, Excel, Word, text editors, Construction Information System, etc.); - State language proficiency at the highest level (C2 level); - Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills, with a willingness to learn and apply acquired knowledge to the overall development of Ogres Municipal Administration. Key Job Responsibilities: - Participate in Ogres Municipal Construction Authority meetings and decision-making regarding construction projects and inspection opinions; - Work in the Construction Information System and evaluate construction documentation in accordance with legal requirements; - Prepare decisions, administrative acts, binding regulations, normative acts, and other document drafts for matters within the Ogres Municipal Construction Authority's competence; - Evaluate documents prepared by Ogres Municipal Administration institutions and structural units for matters within the Ogres Municipal Construction Authority's competence, providing legal support; - Represent the Ogres Municipal Construction Authority in court and communicate with courts and institutions on construction matters.
