HSB Riksförbund ekonomisk förening · Vollzeit
Lilla Varvsgatan 14, Malmö, Schweden
At HSB, you are part of something bigger: We create sustainable housing for the future together with our members. We also open doors for those who make us who we are today – our employees. Are you looking for your next career challenge and want to be part of the journey toward sustainable housing for the future? Then you might be our next Lawyer! We are looking for a lawyer with experience from the real estate industry, positioned in either Malmö or Göteborg. The position is a permanent full-time employment and you will join a team of five lawyers within the Legal and Housing Social Affairs department, business area Tenant-Owned Housing. HSB Göteborg and HSB Malmö have been collaborating since fall 2025 in a joint organization. Together we will be able to meet market competition and secure our operations for the future. As a unified organization, we become financially stronger and more efficient, which creates greater member benefits. Responsibilities Our tenant-owned housing associations have access to legal advice through our lawyers. As a lawyer with us, you will assist our associations with legal support in areas such as general dispute resolution, tenant-owned housing law, commercial and residential tenancy law, association law, tort law, contract law, and construction law. As legal counsel, you will participate in negotiations and represent clients in proceedings at district courts, the Enforcement Authority, and the Rent Tribunal. You will also be an expert in various development projects, draft agreements of various kinds, chair association meetings, and lead training both internally and externally. You will be an important link between various functions in our work and that of our tenant-owned housing associations. The position is located in either Malmö or Göteborg. The collaboration between HSB Malmö and HSB Göteborg means that travel to some extent may occur. Evening meetings also occur as part of the role. Qualifications We are looking for you with a law degree and good experience from the real estate industry. We would like to see several years of experience working with tenancy and real estate law, and previous experience with procedural law. We would also like to see experience with board work and construction law. If you have completed notarial service, that is a plus. You master the Microsoft Office suite and speak and write fluent Swedish. Personal Qualities You are driven by providing service, are self-motivated, and take responsibility for planning and prioritizing your work tasks. You see the fact that no two days are alike as an exciting challenge, where you thrive with adapting to changed circumstances. As you will have daily contact with our tenant-owned housing associations, it goes without saying that you possess high social competence. You are attentive to the client's needs and curious about their situation so you can provide the best advice, and you have the ability to explain legal matters in an easy-to-understand way. You will become part of a small team where you drive your own matters, but where collaboration, lack of ego, and shared responsibility are essential for success and satisfied clients. What We Offer As an employee with us, you get personal responsibility with the opportunity to influence your work situation and work in an organization driven by long-term relationships and sustainable innovations that make a real difference. Openness, dialogue, and engagement are important elements for those of us who work at HSB. Of course, we also offer good employment terms and benefits. You are offered varied and stimulating work where you as an employee are given the opportunity to make a difference every day. With us, you work in a diverse operation with values at the center and with a focus on continually developing good housing. We summarize our values in ETHOS, which stands for Engagement, Security, Sustainability, Care, and Cooperation. We experience joy, trust, and respect in the workplace, and this feeling should also include our members and customers. The application deadline is September 27, 2026. Interviews are held on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the application deadline. As part of the recruitment process, we conduct background checks and personality tests.
