The Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation Bureau announces a competition for a senior expert official position (permanent)

Main duties of the position:
- Conduct human factors and organizational factors analysis in aircraft accidents and serious incidents, integrating them into the overall safety investigation process;
- Analyze human behavior and decision-making, including situational awareness, attention, fatigue, training, experience and procedure compliance, as well as the impact of work environment, ergonomics and technical systems on human performance;
- Evaluate organizational factors, safety culture, work organization and supervision effectiveness, identifying systemic and latent risk factors;
- Conduct structured interviews, analyze obtained information and participate in developing event chronology, evidence assessment and causal factor analysis;
- Prepare human factors and organizational factors analysis for safety investigation reports, formulate evidence-based conclusions and develop safety recommendations, as well as evaluate their implementation and effectiveness;
- Participate in international investigations, working groups and professional cooperation networks, follow latest trends and best practices in human factors and safety investigation, and enhance professional competence.
Requirements for candidates:
- Higher education, preferably in social sciences, psychology, engineering sciences or related field;
- At least 3 years of practical experience in safety investigation, aircraft accident or incident investigation or analysis; experience in human factors field will be considered an advantage;
- Good knowledge of human factors theories, models and analysis methods, as well as understanding of their application in safety investigation;
- Understanding of safety investigation principles and methodology, ability to assess evidence, conduct structured interviews, analyze information and identify causal relationships and systemic factors;
- Ability to prepare structured analytical reports, formulate evidence-based conclusions and recommendations, as well as good computer skills working with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- English language proficiency at least B2 level for cooperation with foreign partners;
- Good collaboration and communication skills, analytical thinking, responsibility and ability to act effectively in stressful situations.
