We are looking for a new colleague for the position of Junior Accountant in a small, stable, and well-functioning team at Zámek Loučeň a.s. This role does not offer stereotypical execution of a single task. The goal is to involve the new team member in the complete accounting cycle and help them grow into an independent specialist.

What will the job entail?
- Complete management of documents.
- Verification of completeness, entry, and archiving of invoices, receipts, and bank statements. Preparation of payments.
- Preparation of documents for outgoing bank transfers and monitoring of their timely processing.
- Inventory management and stock organization.
- Goods or material receipt, verification of delivery notes, creation of new inventory cards, and matching with purchase invoices.
- Organization and control of inventories: Preparation of documents for regular inventories, physical participation in counts, and subsequent evaluation and posting of any inventory differences.
- Cash register and travel allowances: Management of cash registers and cash books, and settlement of business trips (knowledge of meal allowances—we are happy to provide training).
- Support for the accounting department: settlement of business trips (knowledge of meal allowances—we are happy to provide training), close cooperation with the chief accountant, and assistance with monthly closings.
- Communication, communication, communication: With clients, suppliers, authorities, and also oversight of timely submission of documents from colleagues in other departments.
- Corporate archives: management of insurance and other contracts, vehicle fleet.
- Asset and inventory records.
Profile of the ideal candidate (Who are we looking for)?
- Analytical thinking and common sense: We are looking for a person who thinks about numbers in context. If a single cent doesn't add up in the data, you have a natural desire to find the cause.
- Basic knowledge of the field: A requirement is economic education (secondary/university) or a completed retraining course and knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles.
- Digital literacy: Good working knowledge of MS Excel and openness to modern technologies. The paper era in companies is gradually being replaced by digitalization and automation.
- Reliability and attention to detail: In accounting, accuracy and care are key qualities.
