On behalf of our client, we are now seeking junior testing engineers for an international and innovative operation in Lund. We're looking for someone who recently graduated as an engineering technologist or master's engineer and is seeking an exciting first step in your career!
As a Junior Testing Engineer, you will work to ensure and verify that technical products function and perform as they should in various types of customer and installation environments. You'll be part of a team working with Hardware Quality Assurance, where you'll have the opportunity to combine hands-on testing work in the lab with problem-solving, analysis, and product development.
In this role, you will participate in various product development projects and collaborate closely with engineers in areas such as mechanics, electronics, and software. The work includes requirements specification, test planning, practical test execution, and analysis and reporting of test results. You will also have the opportunity to develop test cases, test methods, and test equipment.
Tests are conducted primarily in the company's own lab environments and may include, for example, climate, temperature, water, dust, impact, and vibration testing. The role is therefore ideal for you if you enjoy hands-on work and at the same time want to use your analytical thinking to understand and solve technical problems.
This is a full-time assignment starting immediately. You will be employed by us at StudentConsulting but will be assigned to our client. Work is conducted during standard office hours, Monday–Friday.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking two different profiles and would like to see that you have:
Testing Engineer in Mechanics:
Recently completed education as an engineering technologist or master's engineer in mechanical engineering or equivalent
A strong interest in hands-on work with mechanical and climate-related environmental durability testing
Good analytical skills and interest in analyzing test results and troubleshooting mechanical designs
Good ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize tasks
Testing Engineer in Electronics:
Recently completed education as an engineering technologist or master's engineer in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent
Basic understanding of electronics and electronic systems
Ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical work in a lab environment
Good ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize tasks
Meritorious experience and knowledge:
Experience working in a lab environment
Experience with environmental durability testing
Experience with measuring instruments and hands-on test work
Experience with climate and vibration testing
Experience with analysis and troubleshooting of technical designs
