Are you a junior project manager with a technical background and interest in developing within electrical grid infrastructure? If so, this could be your next opportunity. We are looking for someone who wants to take the next step in project management and progressively build up your expertise in electrical grid projects. You will manage small to medium-sized projects in the Stockholm area with responsibility for planning, budget, contractor relationships, and follow-up. This role is for someone with a technical foundation and the ability to create structure and move things forward. You don't need prior experience in the electrical grid industry or the client's internal processes from day one. You will receive support from senior project managers and progressively build your own project portfolio with increased responsibility. This position is a consulting assignment, meaning you will be employed as a consultant through Futuria People and work on-site at the client, with the possibility of direct recruitment by the client in the future. About the Company The client is an established company within Swedish energy and infrastructure with operations in Stockholm, among other locations, where they work to develop and maintain socially critical infrastructure and manage technical projects with a focus on long-term sustainability, safety, and quality. You will become part of an established project organization with access to experienced colleagues. The role is designed to allow you to progressively take on greater responsibility and develop toward more complex projects and senior project management roles. You will receive structured introduction to working methods, systems, and regulations, as well as ongoing support from senior colleagues and your manager. The work environment combines office work with on-site contact with projects and contractors in the field. About the Position As a junior project manager, you will be responsible for small to medium-sized projects within local electricity networks. You will drive projects with support from more experienced project managers and progressively take on greater individual responsibility. Your responsibilities will include: • Managing your own electrical grid projects • Planning and monitoring project timelines, budgets, and deliverables • Handling straightforward procurements within existing framework agreements • Directing and monitoring contractors together with site managers • Following project budgets, payment schedules, and forecasts in project management systems • Ensuring documentation and lessons learned from completed projects • Working on occupational health and safety matters related to projects • Coordinating internal and external parties affected by the projects • Actively building up your expertise in electrical grids and project management We are Looking For Someone Who • Has relevant technical education in electrical power, energy, infrastructure, or another engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience • Has basic experience planning, monitoring, and communicating within projects.
