Do you love bikes, technology, and working with your hands – but haven't yet gained several years of experience as a bike mechanic? Then this might be the job for you.
Mohlins Cykel & Motor has been around since 1924 and is in an exciting development phase. We are now looking for a junior bike technician/apprentice for our shop and workshop in Kristianstad.
We're looking first and foremost for the right person and the right interests. You don't need to be a fully trained bike mechanic. With us, you'll have the opportunity to learn the trade alongside our experienced technicians and gradually take on more advanced work.
What will you be doing?
Initially, you'll be working with:
Assembly and delivery inspection of new bikes
Puncture repairs, tire and tube replacements
Basic service and adjustments
Brakes, gears, chains, and other wear parts
Cleaning, inspection, and finishing of bikes
Organization and structure in the workshop and spare parts storage
As you develop, you'll learn more about e-bikes, hydraulic brakes, modern drivetrains, electronic shifting systems, and MTB, gravel, and road bikes.
Who are we looking for?
Maybe you already tinker with bikes, mopeds, motorcycles, or cars in your spare time. Maybe you've completed a technical education or work in another practical profession and want to try something new.

Previous experience from the bike industry is a merit – but not required.
From Apprentice to Bike Technician
Our intention is not just to find extra hands in the workshop. We're looking for someone who wants to learn the trade and develop into a skilled bike technician.
You'll start with the basics and develop step by step with our experienced mechanics. With the right interest and attitude, there are great opportunities to grow within the company.
