Junior Controller - Accounting Assistant

As a Junior Controller/Accounting Assistant at Nevel, you will participate in ongoing work related to monthly closing procedures, including accounting, quality controls, fuel/energy calculations, project tracking, while maintaining close dialogue with the operations as a whole. You will be responsible for external reporting to both SCB and other authorities. The role also includes payroll controlling and various administrative tasks such as vehicle management, benefits and operational vehicles, as well as credit card management. We are looking for you who · Have a university degree in economics or similar, or several years of work experience in the field. · Have very good Excel skills. · Have an interest in analysis, results tracking, and are structured and able to work independently. · We consider it a merit if you have previously worked with payroll controlling in a 3-shift operation. · You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. Since we are a Finnish group, this is a requirement. To succeed in the role: We see that you are a driven, proactive, and engaged person who enjoys working with colleagues, as you will work broadly across operations. You are structured and meticulous, and have very good numerical and analytical abilities. The role is a parental leave replacement for approximately 1.5 years from October, so we welcome applications from newly graduated candidates as well. The position is based in Hudiksvall where we are located in pleasant offices with sea views and close to both the city center and fitness facilities.
