Construction Site Manager in New Construction at Kvalitetsbygg Ready to take the next step as a site manager in a large residential project? Kvalitetsbygg is now recruiting a Construction Site Manager for new construction to join our operations in Stockholm. In this role, you will initially be part of a comprehensive residential project in Åkersberga, which includes 263 apartments. The project is planned to run through Q1 2028. Here you'll have the opportunity to become an important part of production and work closely with the site manager, project manager, and other site managers. You'll take significant responsibility in daily production work while having the opportunity to develop alongside experienced colleagues in a larger project. We're looking for someone with a few years of experience in construction production, preferably in residential construction, who wants to continue developing as a site manager and eventually take on greater responsibility. About the Role As a site manager, you become a central part of daily production. You work closely with the site manager, project manager, and other site managers and are responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on your assigned parts of the project. A large part of the role involves being close to production – ensuring that work proceeds according to plan, coordinating subcontractors and resources, and managing questions and deviations that arise along the way. You become an important link between planning and execution and contribute to creating structured, safe, and efficient production. Your Main Responsibilities Plan, lead, and follow up on daily production work within your areas of responsibility Ensure that work is carried out according to drawings, construction documents, and schedule Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and resources Participate in construction and production meetings Follow up on production and report status to the site manager Identify and handle deviations and production-related problems Work actively with quality, work environment, and safety Contribute to a well-planned and efficient construction process Participate in production follow-up and simpler project economic matters Who Are We Looking For? We're looking for someone with approximately 2–5 years of experience in construction production and who has worked as a site manager, assistant site manager, or in another coordinating role in production. You have experience with new residential construction and a good understanding of how construction production is planned and carried out. You need to be comfortable reading drawings and construction documents and have a good technical understanding of construction solutions. It's important that you enjoy being close to production and that you have a natural drive to make things happen. You need to be able to take responsibility for your parts of the project while working closely with the rest of the organization. We'd like to see that you have: Approximately 2–5 years of experience in construction production Experience as a site manager, assistant site manager, or equivalent Experience with new residential construction Good technical understanding of construction production Ability to read drawings and construction documents Basic understanding of project economics and production follow-up Good system and computer skills Good Swedish in speech and writing Class B driver's license It's a plus if you have a construction engineering degree or background from production, such as as a carpenter or lead installer. Experience with digital tools such as Dalux, Bluebeam, or similar, and knowledge of KMA (Construction-Materials-Accident standards) and work environment are also advantageous. As a Person, You Are You are driven, structured, and solution-oriented and enjoy working close to production. You take responsibility for your tasks and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed. At the same time, you're a team player who understands the value of good collaboration. You're communicative, unpretentious, and have an easy time creating good relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, and other parties involved in the project. Above all, we're looking for someone who wants to develop and take on greater responsibility over time.
