Key job responsibilities: • Organize and implement youth work in Ropažu Municipality in accordance with state and municipal youth policy priorities. • Plan, coordinate and lead non-formal education, educational, informational and leisure activities for young people, promoting youth personal development and civic participation. • Ensure regular work with young people in Garkalne, Stopiņu and Ropažu parishes, as well as in Vangažu city, in cooperation with educational institutions, multifunctional centers and other municipal institutions. • Promote youth involvement in public, cultural, sports and volunteer activities, supporting youth initiatives and participation in decision-making processes. • Regularly assess youth interests and needs, identify current issues and develop proposals for youth work. • Cooperate with municipal institutions, non-governmental organizations, local and international partners, and promote youth participation in international mobility and cooperation projects. • Participate in project development and implementation, coordinate project activities, ensure publicity and necessary information dissemination. • Create and maintain digital content on social networks and other communication channels, providing young people with current information about opportunities, events and youth work updates. Requirements for candidates: • Secondary, secondary professional or higher education; • Experience working with young people; • Experience in organizing and implementing youth activities; • Experience in project implementation, activity and event organization, understanding of non-formal education methods; • Additional advantage: experience with Erasmus+ youth projects and organizing international youth exchanges. • Knowledge of legislation regulating the youth field, including knowledge of youth work content and methodology; • Understanding of how to work with young people at risk of social exclusion and young people with special needs due to physical and mental development characteristics; • Ability to use multimedia and information technologies in performing duties; • Ability to make decisions and skill to respond and act in extraordinary, non-standard situations, high-risk cases and other circumstances; • Psychological resilience and high communication culture; • Ability to build business cooperation with the public and representatives of other institutions; • Excellent state language proficiency.
