Your Role As an IT Business Developer, you will be an important link between business operations and IT. You capture needs, analyze how we can work smarter, and drive development of processes, work methods, and digital solutions. You will work closely with the business to understand challenges and opportunities and translate these into clear requirements, improvement suggestions, and development initiatives. You will also collaborate with IT, suppliers, and other specialists within the group. Your Main Responsibilities Capture, analyze, and prioritize business needs related to IT support and digitalization Drive and participate in development and change initiatives within IT and operations Map and develop processes, information flows, and work methods Translate business needs into clear requirements and documentation for IT solutions Coordinate and follow up development efforts together with business, IT, and external suppliers Support the business in implementing and changing systems and work methods Contribute to ensuring development takes place with consideration for business value, security, quality, and customer needs We are Looking for You With an academic degree in IT, engineering, or another relevant field, or equivalent experience. You have experience driving projects, development work, or improvement initiatives and have a good understanding of the relationship between business, processes, systems, and data. You don't need to be a specialist in all areas of IT. What matters is that you have the ability to understand business needs, see opportunities for improvement, and work with others to translate them into functioning solutions. It is a merit if you have experience with: IT procurement and supplier management Agile project management or agile work methods Business development within energy, electricity trading, or other complex operations Requirements specification and work with system development To Succeed in the Role You are structured and analytical and find it easy to create a comprehensive picture even when questions are complex. You are solution-oriented and enjoy driving issues from need and idea to implementation and results. Since the role involves many contact points, you are a clear and attentive communicator. You can explain complex issues in a simple way, ask the right questions, and challenge established work methods in an unpretentious manner. You enjoy collaborating with different professions and have the ability to create engagement and get people to work toward the same goal. You are confident in prioritizing and making decisions within your area of responsibility and enjoy seeing concrete results of your work. Swedish and English in speech and writing are required.
