As an IT Coordinator within the social services administration, you are together with the e-health coordinator the link between the operation's needs, strategy in digital development and the technical solution. 1 position(s). DUTIES In the role of IT Coordinator, you need good technical understanding, strong collaboration skills and knowledge of driving projects. You work closely with the operation's managers and employees, and have particularly close collaboration with our e-health coordinator to drive and support digital development within the social services administration's various operational areas. You are also the administration's contact with the municipal association Itsam, which is our IT department and provider of IT infrastructure and operations. Organizationally you belong to the cross-departmental staff and report directly to the social services director. Main responsibilities: • Act as requirements specifier, purchaser and contact person towards Itsam regarding operations, infrastructure, licenses and technical changes. • Work closely with the e-health coordinator to implement, specify requirements for and secure technical solutions within the social services administration • Transform the operation's needs into technical specifications and support the operation with more complex IT technical issues • Work with further development and authorization structures for the administration's various operational systems • Ensure that system management complies with applicable legislation and the municipality's security guidelines QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: • Relevant post-secondary education in IT, systems science, engineering or other education that the employer considers equivalent • Good technical competence and understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, cloud services and system integrations • Experience in systems management, supplier management, IT coordination, and leading complex projects • B-class driver's license • Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing We consider it meritorious to have experience with operational systems within social services, for example Lifecare, as well as knowledge of IT solutions, digital alarm chains and welfare technology. Knowledge of IT security and relevant legislation within the public sector as well as experience of working in a politically governed organization is also considered meritorious. As a person you are structured, thorough and quality-conscious with an ability to see the bigger picture. You are curious and solution-oriented and have an easy time understanding complex issues. Furthermore, we see that you are pedagogical and communicative and can explain technical issues in a simple and clear way. You enjoy collaborating, building good relationships and taking initiative to drive the work forward. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: November 1, 2026 or by agreement.
