IT Project Manager with Technical Profile at AcadeMedia
About AcadeMediaAcadeMedia is Europe's largest education company and a long-term player with operations in Sweden, Norway, Germany, and Poland, among others. Our approximately 200,000 students use our digital platforms daily – creating a complex, challenging, and exciting IT environment.
We are now strengthening our project management office (PMO) with an IT project manager with a clear technical profile.
Your RoleAs an IT project manager with us, you will drive technically oriented projects from start to finish. You will work both operatively and strategically on projects involving, for example, acquisitions, development, transitions, and digital transformation.
You are responsible for project deliverables, budgets, timelines, and prioritizations, and you ensure that project models and steering committee work are followed. Together with our PMO team of five experienced project managers, you collaborate closely with service owners, architects, and other key people in the organization.
In this role, you will lead technically complex projects within SaaS, hybrid operating environments, identity & access management, and migration and integration initiatives. You will also drive preliminary studies and pilot projects related to IT security and modernization of our environment. This is a role for someone who wants to work close to the technology and combine project management with your technical understanding.
We are looking for you who
· Are curious, driven, and thrive in a dynamic environment where you can take initiative and lead change.
· Have experience driving technical IT projects and reporting to steering committees.
· Have a technical background – for example from IT operations, systems administration, infrastructure, technical consulting, or similar.
· Have worked on migration and integration projects.
· Have a structured working approach and good communication skills.
· Are familiar with project management methodologies, such as PPS.

Scope and PlacementThis is a permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period. The office is located on Adolf Fredriks Kyrkogata in Stockholm. Selection is ongoing and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
