WORK TASKS Working in preschool and primary school/adapted primary school, you will be tasked with helping children/students develop both academically and emotionally. This lays the foundation for lifelong learning. In the above areas, you can work as a childcare worker, student assistant, and unqualified educator. In elderly care, geriatric psychiatry, and night work in elderly care, you help older people with various support services, such as care, personal hygiene, transfers, cleaning, laundry, shopping, accompaniment, supervision, and activities such as walks. The work is performed both in special housing or in the individual's private residence. The work also includes documentation. At night you usually work alone but have close collaboration with the home care night nurses. In support services, you provide support, social services, and care to users in their daily lives. You work at LSS residences, such as a group home or service residence, or with personal assistance. In neuropsychiatry, you provide support, care, and guidance to children, adolescents, and young adults with neuropsychiatric disabilities, such as ADHD and autism. You work to meet the child/adolescent based on their development and functional level. The work is done both in teams and independently. In meal services, our goal is to work together with other staff to make the meal a complete experience! To achieve this goal, you will work with all tasks that occur in a kitchen: prepare and prepare breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner for children, students, and the elderly. Ordering goods from suppliers and meal portions in the meal data program Matilda are some other tasks that are part of creating an experience for those who eat the food we serve. You will also be able to work with cooking as well as handling and serving special diets. QUALIFICATIONS • Preschool and primary school/adapted primary school For work in the Child and Education sector, you must have an approved education at upper secondary school level and you have at least a language level corresponding to basic Swedish partial course 1. You must be good at expressing yourself in Swedish in speech and writing, in addition you must be good at creating relationships and being a safe and creative person. You like working with children and young people and put their needs in focus. • Elderly care/Geriatric psychiatry/Night patrol You see people as individuals and want to strengthen people's own resources. You like working in a group but are not afraid of working alone. You are responsible, service-oriented, stress-tolerant, and responsive. Good treatment of others is very important. You have a diploma from nursing assistant education or have experience in care and welfare work. You need to master the Swedish language in speech and writing and have computer skills. • Support services/Neuropsychiatry You see people as individuals and want to strengthen people's own resources. You are thorough, stress-tolerant, and flexible, see the whole picture, but focus on the individual meeting. You are passionate about helping others. It is an advantage if you have education in the field or work experience as a personal assistant or treatment assistant. • Meal services It is important that you understand that what we eat is an important part of how we experience our lives and our day. You are quality-conscious, both in terms of what we produce but also how we do it. You like working in a group and being useful to others.
