Assignment Description
We are seeking an operational and communicative Integration Developer / Integration Specialist for a consulting assignment. In this role, you will support customer projects by setting up and configuring integrations in an integration platform based on customer needs, while ensuring that solutions follow established best practices.
This role suits you if you thrive in an operational and practical environment with a focus on integration, configuration, and close collaboration with customer teams, rather than in a purely dedicated development or architecture role.
Approximate work distribution in the role:
40 % Communication & Requirements Gathering: Dialogue with customers and internal stakeholders to gather and understand integration requirements.
30 % Integration Configuration: Setup and configuration of integrations in the platform.
20 % Java Development: Use and customization of reusable components in Java.
10 % Testing & Quality Assurance: Verification of functionality and quality assurance of solutions.
Mandatory Requirements
2–4 years of practical experience with API Management and/or Apache Kafka.
3–5 years of experience with Java development for component customization.
Practical experience with PostgreSQL and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and good understanding of Kubernetes clusters.
Good knowledge of GitHub Actions and Ansible Tower.
Experience with Linux and WSL environments and knowledge of Splunk, Fluent Bit, and Helm Charts.
Strong communication skills, experience gathering integration requirements, and a solution-oriented, operational work approach.
Meritorious Requirements
Previous experience from dedicated integration departments or complex integration projects.
Experience with Angular, JavaScript, and Bash scripting.
