The Institute for Languages, Literature and Learning (ISLL) offers courses and programs in languages, linguistics, culture and literature from undergraduate to master's level. Most of the institute's subjects are an important part of teacher education programs. Almost all teaching is web-based and integrates educational technology and pedagogy, which together enable interactive real-time seminars. The linguistic diversity among our teachers enriches the education and research conducted at the institute. We work in a cohesive academic environment and collaborate both nationally and internationally to ensure the quality of our courses. Research at the institute has three main focuses: linguistics, literary studies, and didactics and learning.
Your Workday
Your role as institution administrator is primarily to provide administrative support to the director and department heads as well as colleagues. You serve as secretary at various meetings, where you arrange, send invitations and write minutes. You have many internal contacts and work closely with colleagues in similar roles at other institutes. Filing and archiving various documents, preparing materials for decisions, some invoice handling and registering information in various systems are examples of additional tasks. When needed, you also assist with booking travel, reserving rooms, arranging receptions and similar activities. Administrative management of course and education plans is also part of your responsibilities. The pace is often high and the day doesn't always go as planned. Your tasks are varied and change from day to day.

Requirements for the position:
A theoretical upper secondary education
At least 2 years of experience working with qualified administrative tasks
You can express yourself well orally and in writing in both Swedish and English
Good knowledge of the Office suite and strong digital skills
Physical presence at the workplace
Meritorious for the position:
Other relevant post-secondary education
Experience in a similar administrative role in the higher education sector
Experience in academic operations
Experience working in public administration, particularly state administration

The Position
The position is a permanent employment. Full-time (100%). Dalarna University is an institution operating in two locations. The position is based in Falun, but work in Borlänge may occur.
