Procurement Coordinator Would you like to use your expertise as a procurement coordinator to help secure Sweden's national security? About the Unit Försvarsmakten's procurement unit is located within the command FMLOG (Försvarsmakten Logistics) and is responsible for Försvarsmakten's procurement and purchasing in accordance with applicable procurement legislation. The work we carry out is crucial for Försvarsmakten's supply chain as well as strategic and operational success. We work according to an established category management methodology. The procurement unit consists of seven departments geographically distributed across Sweden. We are now seeking a procurement coordinator for our Workplace Services department in Skövde. Main Responsibilities As a Procurement Coordinator, you will work with procurement management and coordination, as well as monitoring and improvement measures related to targets and key metrics within assigned categories and agreements. In this role, you will functionally manage assigned requesters who utilize Försvarsmakten's existing agreements and serve as a contact person for certain designated units. The work spans the entire procurement process from strategic to operational purchasing, where you ensure that procedures and guidelines are followed. Part of your daily routine will be maintaining continuous dialogue with our internal customers within Försvarsmakten regarding agreements, instructions, and procurement systems. You will also have contact with our suppliers and work together with our strategic purchasers to manage ongoing monitoring, analysis, and development of our agreements. You will also conduct training sessions in the procurement area within Försvarsmakten. Qualifications Experience and knowledge required for the position include: Relevant academic education, vocational training with a commercial focus, or equivalent knowledge obtained from relevant work experience Very good skills in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Very good ability to express yourself orally and in writing, both in Swedish and English Personal Qualities You are a results-oriented and self-motivated person who enjoys and has a good ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Working with multiple tasks simultaneously is something you thrive with, and you adapt easily to changing circumstances. You also have good analytical skills and can draw conclusions and develop improvement suggestions using available data. You plan and structure your work well to achieve set goals within specified timeframes. The role also requires a service-oriented mindset and willingness to help others deliver solutions that lead to results. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. Meritorious Qualifications It is advantageous if you have one or more of these experiences: Category-managed procurement work Knowledge of LOU and/or LUFS Work with agreement monitoring Experience conducting training sessions Other Information Starting date as soon as possible by agreement. The position is a permanent employment contract that begins with a six-month probationary period. The position is located in Skövde and work is performed on-site.
