Are you a leader who, together with your team, is motivated by creating business results through both strategic and operational procurement work? With us, you'll be able to develop procurement operations and create business value in significant infrastructure projects. We have a strong market position and operate a broad portfolio of exciting and socially important projects within land, road, and construction. We are now facing a future with major investment initiatives within our strategic growth segments: water treatment, hydropower, and electricity distribution. The division has approximately 40 ongoing projects. Some of the larger and current projects include: - Forshuvudforsen in Dalarna, where a hydroelectric power plant is being rebuilt for future energy needs, - Mon Water Treatment Plant in Gävleborg, a new drinking water facility that ensures access to clean water - Kungsängsverket in Uppsala, where an existing wastewater treatment plant is being expanded to meet future demands for sustainable water management. The Procurement Manager Role As procurement manager, you are responsible for the procurement function within the division. You lead and further develop strategic procurement work and coordinate and follow up on operational procurement work. An important part of the assignment is to develop the procurement team's competence and ensure that the function has the right conditions to contribute to the division's goals. You work closely with project, production, and bid organizations, with a clear focus on early stages, business phase, and bid phase. The role also includes responsibility for framework agreements and parts of operational procurement work in selected projects. Together, you create the best possible conditions for successful and profitable projects. You are involved throughout the entire procurement process, from supplier dialogues and negotiations to contract review, contract signing, and follow-up. You ensure that our procurement agreements comply with NCC's guidelines and requirements. Since many of our projects are carried out in collaboration form, you also work closely with our customers to create value and achieve common goals. You have six project procurement specialists to assist you, based in different locations within our geography. You lead, support, and develop your team members so they can conduct uniform and business-minded procurement work of high quality. You report to the division's Specialist Manager and are part of the division's management group, where you are expected to actively contribute to the division's development and success. In addition, you are part of a network with other procurement managers within both the division and the business area where experience sharing and collaboration are a natural part of daily work. You enjoy negotiation situations and work with a long-term business perspective. The goal is to create sustainable business deals that benefit NCC, the customer, and our suppliers. By developing, driving, and implementing procurement strategies, you contribute to strong business relationships and efficient collaboration with the supplier market.
