About the Position
Personal assistance is a service under LSS (Act on Support and Services for People with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will mainly help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance is uniquely adapted based on the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace.
The client is a 28-year-old woman living in Bollebygd. The client's individual needs drive the workday, and work can include, for example, help with mobility, personal care, exercise and communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home.

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client.
For this position, you must have:
good knowledge of the Swedish language, in understanding, speaking, and writing
our client prefers a female assistant in the first instance, since hygiene tasks are included
a B driving license (automatic transmission is sufficient) to be able to drive the client's car
access to your own car as there is limited public transportation to the client's residence
tolerance for pets and be comfortable working in an environment with a dog
be able to swim and be comfortable accompanying the client to the swimming hall
be smoke-free during work hours
For this position, it is advantageous if you have:
experience from similar work
experience with Autism
experience with Diabetes
experience with low-affective approach (LAB)
experience with motivational interviewing (MI)
Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary
The current employment form is "for as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment level of approximately 60%. Working hours are scheduled for day and night according to a rotating 4-week schedule. Schedule times typically vary between 10:00-18:00, 11:00-19:00, and 19:00-10:00 (with standby time 01:00-08:00). You work one night per week, with the remaining shifts scheduled during daytime. There is also work every other weekend.
Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation according to collective bargaining agreement.
