Company Description Business Unit (BU) Vattenfall Power Solutions is a business unit of approximately 700 people within Business Area (BA) Vattenfall Generation that trains personnel in Swedish nuclear power, delivers nuclear fuel to Vattenfall's nuclear power plants, develops and implements projects and assignments, and provides internal technical specialist services for all of Vattenfall's operations, corporate staffs, and stakeholders. This includes activities such as developing and providing training programs, project management and project support, analysis management and investigations, product development, and nuclear technical safety and dam safety assignments. Within the Vattenfall Power Solutions business unit, the focus is on developing our project management capabilities and selected key technical disciplines. We actively work with continuous improvement initiatives and the development of our models, where our work and expertise create significant value for Vattenfall and its investments. About the Role Do you have experience and expertise in Licensing? Do you want to contribute to Sweden's fossil-free electricity supply? We are now looking for a new colleague in Licensing with placement in Solna, Uppsala, Västerås, Gävle, Nyköping, Forsmark, or Oskarshamn. Come work with us! Your Responsibilities Work with requirements and licensing basis, for example: work with safety documentation and its analyses. strategic work related to successful licensing and requirement fulfillment interpret emerging issues and assess or propose feasible solutions that can meet the facility's needs and regulatory requirements. interpretation and implementation of new regulatory requirements writing documents with technical content Requirements We are looking for someone with: a civil or higher engineering degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field several years of experience and expertise in licensing, requirements management, and classification good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, in both Swedish and English competence in the Office package B driver's license Meritorious if you have: experience from nuclear power, nuclear technical activities, or other process/power industry knowledge of design principles for nuclear power plants or nuclear technical operations, as well as knowledge of the facility's documentation, operations, and waste management About You As a person, you thrive with independent and responsible work where you, with both your adaptability and strong analytical abilities, create a holistic perspective and momentum in your work.
