Company Description Business Unit (BU) Vattenfall Power Solutions is a business unit of approximately 700 people within Business Area (BA) Vattenfall Generation that trains personnel in Swedish nuclear power, delivers nuclear fuel to Vattenfall's nuclear power plants, develops and executes projects and assignments, and provides internal technical specialist services for all Vattenfall operations, corporate staff, and stakeholders. This includes activities such as developing and providing training, project management and project support, analysis management and investigations, product development, and nuclear technical safety and dam safety assignments. The focus within Vattenfall Power Solutions is to develop our capabilities in project management and selected technical key disciplines. About the Role Do you have experience and expertise in Licensing? Would you like to contribute to Sweden's fossil-free electricity supply? We are now seeking a new colleague in Licensing with placement in Solna, Uppsala, Västerås, Gävle, Nyköping, Forsmark, or Oskarshamn. Come and work with us! Your Responsibilities Work with requirements and licensing basis, for example: work with safety reports and their analyses. strategic work linked to successful licensing and requirement fulfillment interpret emerging issues and assess or propose feasible solutions that can meet the facility's needs and regulatory requirements. interpretation and implementation of new regulatory requirements writing documents with technical content Requirements We are looking for someone who has: a civil or technical degree or relevant work experience in the field some years of experience and expertise in licensing, requirement management, and classification good communication skills, both in Swedish and English competence in Microsoft Office B-class driver's license Meritorious if you have: experience from nuclear power, nuclear operations, or other process/power industry knowledge of design principles for nuclear power plants or nuclear operations, as well as knowledge of the facility's documentation, operation, and waste management About You As a person, you thrive with independent and responsible work where your adaptability and good analytical skills create a comprehensive perspective and drive in your work.
