Company Description Business Unit (BU) Vattenfall Power Solutions is a business unit with approximately 700 employees within Business Area (BA) Vattenfall Generation that trains personnel in Swedish nuclear power, supplies nuclear fuel to Vattenfall's nuclear power plants, develops and executes projects and assignments, and provides internal technical specialist services for all of Vattenfall's operations, corporate departments, and stakeholders. This includes activities such as developing and providing training, project management and project support, analysis management and investigation, product development, and nuclear technical safety and dam safety assignments. Focus within the business unit Vattenfall Power Solutions is to develop our capabilities in project management and selected key technical disciplines. About the Role Do you have experience and expertise in Licensing? Would you like to contribute to Sweden's fossil-free electricity supply? We are now seeking a new colleague in Licensing with placement in Solna, Uppsala, Västerås, Gävle, Nyköping, Forsmark, or Oskarshamn. Come work with us! Your Tasks Work with requirements and licensing basis, for example: work with safety reports and their analyses. strategy work related to successful licensing and requirement fulfillment interpret emerging issues and assess or propose possible feasible solutions that can meet the facility's needs and regulatory requirements. interpretation and implementation of new regulatory requirements writing documents with technical content Requirements We are looking for someone who has: a degree in civil engineering or higher technical education, or relevant work experience in the field several years of experience and expertise in licensing, requirements management, and classification good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English competence in the Office package Class B driver's license Meritorious if you have: experience from nuclear power, nuclear technical operations, or other process/power industry knowledge of design principles for nuclear power plants or nuclear technical operations, as well as knowledge of the facility's documentation, operation, and waste management You as a Person As a person, you enjoy independent and responsible work where, with both your adaptability and good analytical skills, you create a holistic perspective and progress in your work. You collaborate easily, but also drive issues independently from idea to result, placing great emphasis on quality and maintaining good relationships both internally and externally. You are skilled at expressing yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
