We are now looking for a new colleague to the Process Design unit, which is part of the Facility Construction area in Ringhals Projects & Engineering department. About the Job The group's mission is to ensure that the nuclear power plant and its process systems are designed so that function and requirements are maintained. In our facility modifications, we work with facility and system design, implementation of commissioning tests, and technical risk analyses. Business development and participation in investigations of technical issues are also part of the group's responsibilities. Your Areas of Responsibility As a Process Design Engineer, you will work with a skilled team that enjoys challenges related to ensuring and developing the Ringhals facility and processes. You will: identify and evaluate possible principle solutions for facility modifications based on requirements and design prerequisites prepare technical reports as a basis for decisions perform process design/system analysis lead technical risk analyses such as HAZOP, Bowtie, and preliminary hazard analysis conduct commissioning testing where you are responsible for ensuring that implementation meets the predetermined design develop toward leading the work on developing technical solutions within various facility modifications You will be given great trust to act with freedom and own responsibility in your daily work. You will work closely with colleagues within the group and in various projects, giving you a large network throughout the organization. Collaboration is a key principle, and mentorship is provided to those who are new so that over time you can take on more comprehensive roles independently in various types of assignments. Requirements Specification About You M.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent education or other equivalent competence within process, chemical engineering, or mechanical engineering experience from nuclear power or other process industry and knowledge of design principles and requirements (AFS, ASME, etc.) experience in developing process solutions, including flow diagrams, technical specifications, etc. good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, in both Swedish and English It is considered meritorious to also have experience in the following: experience as a design lead/technical responsible in projects experience with process calculations, dimensioning of process systems, and verification of technical solutions knowledge of nuclear power safety requirements and work within safety-classified systems experience with requirements management, verification, and validation of technical solutions knowledge and experience with technical risk analyses The role involves many contact points, and we therefore believe you thrive best in a work environment where cooperation and teamwork are a natural part of the work and where you are happy to include knowledge and experience from the group in your work. Being creative, receptive, and flexible in handling rapid changes is also valuable in this role.
