As a university lecturer in industrial economics, you will have the opportunity to combine your professional expertise with teaching, supervision, and development in an academic environment. Your responsibilities We are looking for someone who wants to use your knowledge and experience from working life to educate the next generation of engineers. Your duties include teaching, supervising, and examining students at the undergraduate level, as well as participating in the development of courses and programs. You will also actively contribute to the development of the subject area and the institution's activities together with colleagues. It is expected that you keep yourself updated within your subject area and follow developments in the external environment that are relevant to the content and quality of the education. Your qualifications We are looking for someone with work experience in industrial economics, primarily in logistics, process development, production development, or supply chain, and who wants to contribute to students' learning by sharing your knowledge and experience. You also need a master's degree in industrial economics or another relevant field, or alternatively relevant professional skills of importance to the subject content of the position. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing. You have demonstrated experience in education, for example industrial training of personnel, or teaching at upper secondary or higher education level. Pedagogical training is required and can be completed during the first two years of employment. The role requires that you have good collaborative skills and experience working collegially, while also having good ability to work independently as well as plan, structure, and prioritize your work. Merits Multi-year qualified professional experience from industrial operations. Experience in leadership, project management, or other qualified roles within industrial operations. Experience in supervising, training, or coaching colleagues. Experience in investments, profitability calculations. Experience in production management. Ability to translate experience from industrial operations into teaching and student learning. Experience with AI applications within the subject area.
