About the Operation The Communications function's mission is to develop and manage Region Västernorrland's communication channels, and to provide support on communication matters to the region's management and operations. You will have great responsibility and freedom to plan your work independently, but also to be part of various teams to address communication challenges for the region's operations. The position involves overall responsibility for the external website rvn.se. This includes both strategic and operational tasks. You will be part of a work group that manages the region's websites including the external site and intranet, as well as the regional sections of 1177. In fall 2026, a project will begin to develop a new external website aimed at enabling sustainable, efficient, and accessible communication on the region's websites and strengthening the digital experience of the region's brand. You are expected to be actively involved and driving in the project together with others in the project group. The project will run for much of 2027. This is a permanent full-time position with start date October 2026. The placement location is Härnösand, but there is also the possibility to work from another location within Region Västernorrland. Responsibilities You will participate in developing and implementing the website's management plan, and be responsible for analyzing user behavior and identifying and formulating improvement areas You are expected to work systematically to monitor and ensure that the website fulfills its purpose, complies with accessibility requirements and other quality standards, and that the content is current and relevant for target audiences The position includes work with structure and content on rvn.se as well as responding to user inquiries. You will have overall responsibility for the publisher organization, training and support for publishers You participate in meetings with suppliers, stakeholders, and prioritize issues for development and maintenance, and assist in testing application changes Qualifications We are looking for someone who Has a degree in media and communication science or equivalent Has experience with editorial work on larger websites and familiarity with digital accessibility requirements Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing It is meritorious if you Have specific experience working with Sitevision as a publishing tool Have experience working with communications and websites in the public sector Have good knowledge of English in speech and writing We believe you will succeed in this role if you have these personal qualities Pedagogical insight Structured Holistic perspective Quality-conscious Region Västernorrland With approximately 7,000 employees and over 200 professions, Region Västernorrland is responsible for several operations that are among the most important for residents' ability to participate in society.
