Your role
As an Information Security Coordinator (ISAM) you have a clear mandate to lead, coordinate and develop the district administration's information security and data protection work. You function as the district administration's CISO but work in line with the city's shared guidelines and adopted directions and serve as a link to the city's central information security function.
Your role includes:
developing, implementing and managing the district administration's information security work.
performing risk and vulnerability analyses, and establishing and updating local control documents, guidelines and procedures.
ensuring that systems and procedures comply with the city's security requirements and that incidents are prevented, investigated and followed up.
leading the district administration's work on classifying business information
participating in information classifications of systems, monitoring training levels and contributing to increased security awareness in the organization.
cooperating with other ISAMs and DSOs within the city, and providing advisory and support services to managers and employees.
monitoring changes in legislation and information security events in the external environment, and reporting relevant findings to management
Your competence and experience
We are looking for you with:
relevant university education or vocational specialist training in information security, IT, law or another related field. Extensive and current experience in qualified information security work can correspond to formal education
understanding of and experience with regulations concerning information security and cybersecurity law, and how these affect business governance and risk management
experience with classification of information and IT systems
very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
We consider it a merit if you have:
experience working with information security in the public sector
knowledge of the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (OSL)
knowledge in cybersecurity and information technology, with understanding of how technical protection measures and processes work together
experience in archives and/or records management
