Valmieras novada pašvaldība (hereinafter – Municipality) invites you to work as a cybersecurity manager (permanent position).
If you have the desire to:
• develop cybersecurity requirements and cybersecurity policy documents, ensure their implementation and maintenance;
• ensure supervision of measures established for cyber risk mitigation, including participation in cybersecurity training processes;
• analyze the security of existing information systems, plan the implementation of new information system security tools, and determine their compliance with cybersecurity requirements;
• participate in cybersecurity incident identification, assessment, control, and investigation processes;
• ensure quality and timely preparation of internal and external documents, information requests, and response letters;
and if you have:
• at least secondary professional education in information technology, cybersecurity management, or a related field and at least two years of work experience in cybersecurity management gained within the last five years, or a valid internationally recognized certificate confirming professional qualification in cybersecurity;
• understanding of the operating principles of information and communication technology solutions;
• state language proficiency in accordance with the requirements of the State Language Law;
• competencies: precision and patience in work performance; good communication and collaboration skills; accuracy and high sense of responsibility; analytical and logical thinking; ability to argue your opinion; presentation skills; ability to independently organize your work, set goals, and meet deadlines; ability to work individually and in a team; self-initiative and ability to seek and propose new solutions;
• category B driver's license;
