Do you want to work with electrical maintenance in a complex and safety-focused industrial environment where your expertise makes a real difference every day? To our maintenance department in Perstorp, we are now looking for an electrician with a focus on industrial maintenance. With us, you will become an important part of the maintenance organization at a chemical process industry where operational reliability, safety, and continuous improvements are at the center. As an electrician, you report to the Head of Electrical & Instrument Maintenance and are part of a dedicated team within electrical and instrument maintenance. The role is broad and varied, with tasks related to maintenance, projects, facilities, and improvement work in our process plants and support functions. About the Role In this role, you work both preventively and correctively with electrical maintenance. You help ensure that our facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable requirements. Your day consists of planned work, acute troubleshooting, installations, commissioning, and improvements related to both process and safety. Your main responsibilities will include: Coordinate, plan, prepare, and perform electrical maintenance within process facilities. Work with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency measures. Participate in commissioning, checkout, and inspection before putting systems into operation. Take part in improvement work related to maintenance processes, instructions, operational safety, and work environment. Support the preparation of cost estimates and, if needed, plan procurement. Actively contribute to safety work with a focus on work environment, personal safety, and external environment. Document and follow up on work in our maintenance system SAP. In addition, you will also work with various types of PLCs and control systems. The position includes on-call duty according to schedule. Who Are You? We are looking for someone with a high school education in electrical work, or equivalent relevant work experience. You have several years of experience as an electrician, industrial electrician, or from work with industrial or facility maintenance. To thrive in this role, we believe you are someone who works in a structured and methodical way, with a strong safety mindset and good organizational sense. You are thorough, take responsibility, and think through the consequences before you act. At the same time, you are solution-oriented, enterprising, and enjoy working closely with operational staff, projects, contractors, and other professions. We would like to see that you have experience with or knowledge of any of the following: Industrial electrical installations and troubleshooting in process environments. Electrical distribution, electrical installation rules, and applicable standards. High-voltage installations. SSG, ESA, ATEX, or similar industry requirements. SAP or other maintenance systems. SAP experience is advantageous but not required. A B driver's license is required for this position. Working hours are daytime with on-call duty according to schedule. Since Perstorp Specialty Chemicals has zero tolerance for alcohol and drug use during working hours, alcohol and drug testing before employment is mandatory.
