Köpings Elektriska AB is a company in the electrical installation industry and part of Elkedjan. With roots dating back to the 1930s, we are a local electrical company in Köping that works broadly within electrical services. We handle everything from industrial work, service, and contracting to solar panels, batteries, and charging stations.
We are now seeking an electrician who wants to work primarily with our industrial customers.
The work is varied and consists of common electrical tasks, especially within process and manufacturing industries. This can include installations, modifications, maintenance, troubleshooting, and smaller projects at our customers' sites.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked in the industrial sector before and are familiar with that environment. Production often continues around you, and work may occur in environments with machinery, forklift traffic, noise, and sometimes less clean conditions. It is therefore important that you are attentive, safety-conscious, and comfortable with this type of workplace.
Experience with troubleshooting is a merit. However, we are not looking for a specialized PLC or automation programmer, but rather an skilled electrician who is familiar with the various types of electrical work that occur in industrial settings.
Customer contact is an important part of the job for us. You need to be able to maintain good communication with both the customer's staff and our own employees, be responsive to what needs to be done, and represent Köpings Elektriska well.
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. We are looking for someone who is responsible, solution-oriented, and works well both independently and as part of a team.
We are primarily seeking someone who is a trained electrician with at least a few years of experience in the trade. Experience from process or manufacturing industries is a merit.
This is a full-time position. You will be based in Köping, but work will take place where our assignments are located. Start date by agreement.
