ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will become an important part of a growing electronics production operation where increased production volumes create a need to develop and future-proof both processes and working methods. Your focus will include analyzing manufacturing flows, identifying bottlenecks, and driving improvements that contribute to more efficient and stable production. You will also work with industrialization and introduction of new products, where you contribute with a production perspective early in the development process and work to ensure good manufacturability. The role involves many touchpoints and suits you if you enjoy combining analysis and problem-solving with a business-focused approach. You will work both independently and together with other functions to develop production over time. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Map and analyze manufacturing flows Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements in production Develop and standardize working methods and procedures Plan and lead change and development projects within production Work with industrialization and introduction of new products, NPI Analyze product design from a manufacturability perspective Contribute to continuous improvements within production Analyze needs for and contribute to production-related investments WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU: Hold a university or master's degree in, for example, production engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial economics, electronics or another relevant field Have several years of experience from production or manufacturing industry Have experience with industrialization, production engineering, process development or similar work Have understanding of production flows and improvement work Have experience with or good understanding of electronics production Speak and write fluent Swedish and English as both languages are used in the work It is meritorious if you have: Experience with circuit board manufacturing or PCBA production Experience with NPI and industrialization of new products Experience working with manufacturability, for example DFM Experience with Lean, standardized work or other methods for continuous improvements Experience with project management within production or industrialization To thrive in the role, we believe that you are responsible, structured and like to take initiative. ABOUT THE CLIENT COMPANY: The client company is an established technology company that develops and manufactures technical products and systems for societally important operations. The business is in an expansive phase with increasing production volumes and a strong focus on developing efficient, stable and scalable production flows. In the current operations, they work with electronics production and circuit board manufacturing, where production, development and other technical functions collaborate closely. Here you will have the opportunity to work close to the business and see concrete results of the improvements you drive. ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT: This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday and work as a consultant at our client.
