About the Role
In your role as a Hydraulic Engineer, you will work on the development, design, and optimization of hydraulic systems, powertrains, and component solutions for mobile machinery and heavy vehicles. The role has a strong systems focus where you are responsible for ensuring that hydraulics, mechanics, and control systems work together effectively.
You will be part of cross-functional development teams and serve as a technical expert in hydraulics and fluid technology throughout the product development process.
Responsibilities
Develop and design hydraulic systems, powertrains, and technical component solutions
Work with fluid technology systems, hydraulic cylinders, and related components
Ensure that hydraulic, mechanical, and control technology systems function together as a whole
Drive and support complex technical issues in hydraulics and systems development
Collaborate closely with designers, systems engineers, suppliers, and other specialist functions
Participate in long-term development projects with a focus on performance, reliability, and technical innovation
Contribute technical expertise and support colleagues in advanced hydraulics-related matters
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with a focus on mechatronics, fluid mechanics, fluid technology, or hydraulic systems
Several years of experience working with hydraulic systems
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, fluid mechanics, and systems development
Strong systems understanding and experience working with complex technical systems
Great technical interest
B-category driver's license
Good knowledge of Swedish and English
Desirable Qualifications
Education with a focus on hydraulics or fluid systems
Experience in schematic design
Experience in product development for mobile machinery, construction machinery, industrial vehicles, or heavy vehicles
Experience with powertrains and systems design
