Simklubben Stimmet is located in Laholm, Halland's smallest and most charming town, between Båstad to the south and Halmstad to the north. The club, which was founded in 1977, has approximately 200 members today, including a swim school and training and competition groups for children, youth, and adults. Activities are conducted primarily at Folkhälsocentrum, centrally located near public transportation.
We are now looking for a head coach who wants to develop and take the club forward toward new goals.
Stimmet has the advantages of a small club with close and seamless collaboration between the board, members, and staff. We also have good cooperation with the local community and municipality. With us, you will have great influence and the opportunity to contribute to our training activities, which are characterized by joy, community, and a desire to develop.
The role of head coach involves responsibility for planning and executing training and competition activities. You will also contribute to the club's development work and joint activities. Administrative tasks including participation in meetings with the board and federation, as well as support for our youth leaders, are also part of the work.
Working hours are scheduled during days, evenings, and weekends but can be arranged to a large extent according to your preferences and can therefore be combined with, for example, other work or studies.
If you work full-time, you will also be involved in the swim school, adult crawl training, and have expanded administrative responsibility.
We are looking for someone who is positive, engaged, and takes responsibility. You should find it easy to collaborate and communicate both verbally and in writing.
Previous experience in swimming sports and associated education, or leadership experience from another sport, is meritorious but not required.
Education in swimming and leadership will be offered in the position by the association, for example through Svenska Simförbundet.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities, where the ability and interest to interact with children, parents, and other members is of utmost importance.
