Work Tasks As lead project manager for the Mälarbanan section Huvudsta-Duvbo with us, you have many collaboration interfaces both internally and externally, which makes this the perfect role for you if you prioritize good collaboration as a key success factor in your projects. This can involve contracted suppliers, the public, municipalities, and other types of stakeholders. In addition to the above, you contribute to the project by: Supporting other project managers in the program with steering and monitoring the project regarding schedule, cost, and scope Setting clear frameworks for the project with well-defined collaboration forms and a professional approach to suppliers Coordinating multiple design assignments and large construction contracts within the same geographic area Leading and facilitating meetings, workshops, and collaboration groups, both internally within Trafikverket and with external stakeholders such as municipalities and major property owners Working with overall financial forecasts Participating in the preparation of request for proposal documents, engaging in supplier dialogues, etc. Acting proactively regarding risk, safety, and work environment in the projects Assisting the program manager with documentation and information Read more about the project here: Mälarbanan, Tomteboda-Kallhäll - www.trafikverket.se You will become a welcome colleague to our unit, which consists of an engaged team with extensive breadth of experience and knowledge. We are looking for you with several years of relevant and current experience leading large construction and infrastructure projects in roles such as project manager, site manager, project leader, or similar, either as a contractor, client, or consultant. In those roles, you have participated in different phases of the project cycle and coordinated several different technical disciplines in urban environments. Furthermore, you are accustomed to responsibility for scope, schedule, and cost management with corresponding monitoring, as well as managing contract issues and conducting negotiations. You have a university or college education of at least 180hp (120p) in civil engineering and water management, or other education combined with many years of experience that we collectively assess as equivalent. You have good general knowledge and ability to work digitally with systems required to manage and monitor project finances, schedules, etc. You have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and a valid driver's license for a car. It is a merit if you have experience from both the client and supplier side, as we believe this can contribute to a broader perspective in project management and dialogue with our partners. It is also an advantage if you have experience managing large infrastructure projects through their entire lifecycle, from design through production and handover.
