In Sandviken's municipal primary schools, we work in a culture where collaboration and systematic quality work go hand in hand. Norrsätraskolan is located in the western district of Norrsätra, close to forests and recreation areas. The school consists of several buildings; grades 4-6 have their building in the middle of the school area, and grades 7-9 in the two-story building closest to Gävlevägen. The school has approximately 550 students and around 50 employees who together work to create a safe and accessible learning environment. With us, we make each other better.

WORK TASKS
As a substitute teacher, you are a flexible resource who covers for regular staff absences. You work with different grade levels and subjects, which means you quickly need to familiarize yourself with new situations and create structure in the classroom.
You contribute by:
• Creating security and work peace for students in different teaching situations
• Supporting students in their learning and social development
• Collaborating with colleagues to reach common goals
• Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Sharing experiences and knowledge in open forums
• Supporting each other in challenges and development
• Working together so that all students succeed
QUALIFICATIONS
To succeed in this role, you need to be good at collaborating and building good relationships with both students and colleagues. Attentiveness and clear communication are important to contribute to a safe and functioning environment. Pedagogical understanding of how people learn in different ways is also needed, so that teaching can be adapted to students' needs. A structured approach with planning and organization makes it easier to manage the task and create work peace in the classroom.
The position requires:
• Teacher certification
• Strong knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Previous experience working in schools and strong IT skills are merits.
We welcome applicants with qualifications in mathematics and science and especially encourage teachers with this specialization to apply for the position.
