We are seeking a dedicated and organized housekeeping manager who wants to take overall responsibility for cleaning, orderliness, and comfort at Hotell Gästis in Varberg.
In this role, you will be an important part of our daily operations and responsible for maintaining a high and consistent standard throughout our hotel – from guest rooms and corridors to the lobby, public areas, garden, outdoor dining, and terraces. You will lead and develop the housekeeping team, create efficient work processes, and ensure that our guests always experience a clean, well-maintained, and welcoming environment. Your work includes ensuring that our cleaning and quality procedures are followed and continuously improved.
As housekeeping manager, you have operational and supervisory responsibility for the housekeeping department. You work closely with the housekeeping staff in daily operations and collaborate with the operations manager to ensure that the department's goals, quality standards, and budget are met.

Requirements
Previous experience with hotel housekeeping.
Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Valid driver's license (category B).
Good computer skills.
Strong organizational ability and experience working in a structured manner.
Ability to lead and delegate work.
Good sense of quality, orderliness, and attention to detail.
Meritorious
Previous experience in supervisory or personnel management roles.
Experience as a housekeeping manager, head housekeeper, or equivalent in a hotel.
Experience with scheduling and workforce planning.
Experience working with budgets and cost tracking.
Experience developing routines and work processes.
Experience training and onboarding staff.
Experience working with hotel public areas, gardens, or outdoor environments.
