Garage74 is growing and is now recruiting an RV Technician for its operations in Borås. Here you'll have the opportunity to work with service, repairs, and troubleshooting of RVs and caravans in a varied and hands-on role.
Garage74 is an established damage and service workshop that works with cars, RVs, caravans, and light commercial vehicles. The facility is authorized by most insurance companies and also offers service and repair in collaboration with Autoexperten.
About the Role
As an RV technician at Garage74, you'll be an important part of the workshop team. You'll work broadly with service, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of RVs and caravans.
The role is varied and suits you if you enjoy combining hands-on work with technical problem-solving. One day might involve service and maintenance, while the next could be troubleshooting and fixing a more complex technical issue.
You'll work with:
Service and repair of RVs and caravans
Troubleshooting and diagnostics
Vehicle technology and vehicle electrics
Installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment
Mechanical work and component replacement
Damage and repair work
Documentation of completed work
Communication with customers about issues, solutions, and service
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with a genuine technical interest and who enjoys hands-on work. You don't necessarily need to have worked specifically with RVs before – a background in car, truck, machinery, or other vehicle technology can be just as relevant.
We'd like to see that you have:
Experience from the vehicle industry as an RV technician
Good technical understanding
Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving
Interest in electrical and electronics
Ability to work independently and take responsibility
Class B driver's license
Knowledge of vehicle electrics, 12V/230V, heating systems, AC, solar panels, or other equipment found in RVs is a plus
Most importantly, however, is that you're curious, solution-oriented, and want to develop.
