Heading into fall, we at Nevita AB see an increased need for expertise in HSE, process safety, and technical safety work. That's why we'd like to connect with you if you have experience from the process industry and are open to future opportunities.
We're looking for someone who wants to contribute their experience to assignments where safety, risk management, and technical understanding are at the center – often in complex operations within, for example, the chemical industry, petrochemistry, refining, energy, or other process-intensive industry.
Your responsibilities
Our assignments in this field may, for example, involve you:
Planning, coordinating, and driving process safety work at a facility or project
Leading and participating in risk analyses such as HAZOP, HAZID, preliminary analyses, MOC (Management of Change), and other process safety-related activities
Following up on actions from completed risk analyses and ensuring that decided measures are implemented
Planning and conducting PSSR (Pre-Startup Safety Reviews)
Supporting operations with questions related to process safety, HSE, and compliance with safety requirements
Contributing expertise in barrier management, risk-reducing measures, and improvement work
Collaborating with operations, production, engineering, maintenance, and project organizations on safety and change matters
Contributing process engineering expertise in connection with changes, optimizations, and technical improvements in process facilities
Who are you?
We believe you have experience from roles such as Process Safety Engineer, HSE Engineer, process engineer, or similar within the process industry, and that you enjoy assignments where you can combine safety work with technical understanding and collaboration across multiple functions.
We would like to see that you have:
Several years of experience in process safety, HSE, process engineering, or related areas
Documented experience with HAZOP, HAZID, preliminary analyses, MOC, process risk analyses, and risk management
Experience driving and following up on safety-related activities, action plans, and improvement initiatives
Solid understanding of process risks, barrier management, and risk-reducing measures
Experience with PSSR
Experience from the chemical industry, refining, petrochemistry, energy, pharmaceuticals, or other process-intensive operations
Good communication skills and experience collaborating with different parts of the organization
Fluent English and good Swedish, spoken and written
Desirable:
Experience with machine safety, especially at the interface between machinery and process equipment, is a plus.
