Responsibilities We are now seeking an HR Generalist for our Personnel Department at KTH during a parental leave period. As an HR Generalist with us, you will provide close HR support to our managers and employees. With us, you will have a broad and varied role with the opportunity to develop and take on responsibility. You will be managers' first point of contact for operational HR-related questions, where you will provide strategic advice and high-quality consultative support. If support is needed, you can contact HR specialists working within the question's area of expertise. In your work, you are constantly anchored in labor law for state operations as well as KTH's internal rules and guidelines, using this as a tool and guide in your daily work. As an HR Generalist, you will participate in management meetings at different levels and in meetings for cooperation with trade union representatives. You also provide support through presence and consultation in rehabilitation matters and other personnel matters, and have a coordinating and information-sharing role in, for example, salary reviews, employee conversations, employee surveys, safety rounds, or other current matters within the HR area. You will capture managers' support needs through, for example, regular check-ins. The role also includes recruitment where you have a central role in parts of the recruitment process, such as in initiating and discussing competency requirements, as well as participating in and conducting interviews using competency-based methods. You will also help develop managers by conducting manager orientation. In your role, you will also perform administrative tasks within the HR area. Within KTH's Personnel Department, change work is currently underway where processes and work methods are being developed. You will be part of this development work. About the Department/Team You will work independently, but will become part of an experienced and conscientious team of HR Generalists and HR Administrators who together provide important support for KTH's operational support. We work closely together in our daily work and collaborate closely with other parts of the Personnel Department and other functions within the university. Qualifications Requirements University degree in HR, Personnel and Working Life, or equivalent At least 3 years of experience in HR-related work Experience with broad and general HR work Good computer skills, primarily in Office programs At KTH, we operate in an international environment. Personal Qualities As a person, you have a professional approach with high service level in both internal and external contacts. You have the ability to perform your tasks independently and are stimulated by close collaboration with colleagues and managers at KTH. We therefore value that you have very good cooperation skills, are service-oriented, and relationship-building. The work requires that you have good administrative skills where you coordinate and structure your tasks according to needs and demand.
