The Swedish Board of Institutional Care (Statens institutionsstyrelse, SiS) is a government agency responsible for individually adapted compulsory care for young people and adults with substance abuse issues. SiS also administers closed youth care. We do this at youth homes and facilities for adults with addiction issues throughout the country. Working at SiS means your professional life will be an exciting challenge. Regardless of where in our organization you work or what position you hold, you help create vital change. SiS Youth Home Folåsa receives school-age girls with psychosocial problems as well as criminal behavior and substance abuse issues. Job Description We are looking for a driven HR generalist who wants to be part of our development journey! We are now seeking you to work together with a colleague, focusing on recruitment, labor law, and systematic occupational health and safety work at SiS Youth Home Folåsa. This is the role for you if you want to take holistic responsibility for HR work within the institution. You will work closely with our managers to understand their needs and serve as their strategic partner in recruitment, labor law, and systematic occupational health and safety work. As an HR generalist, you will provide consultative support to our unit managers in their daily work and work broadly across the entire HR field. This means you will work operatively, independently, and comprehensively with all HR areas, including systematic occupational health and safety work, rehabilitation, competence development, labor law (terms and agreements), and union negotiations. You will collaborate with various professional groups at the institution, within the agency, and with external partners such as occupational health services. You have experience and knowledge of working in different personnel systems. Here we work, among other things, in Primula and Reachmee. You will be part of the institution's HR group, which consists of another HR generalist, an HR administrator, a staffing planner, and an administrative director. You will be part of the Administrative Unit's working group, which also includes the kitchen, facility management, property administration, IT, procurement, and financial administration. You will work closely with colleagues in an operation where tasks can change and be reprioritized quickly based on operational needs. The HR generalist role requires high availability, great attention to detail, and good interpersonal skills. Qualifications The Swedish Board of Institutional Care and Youth Home Folåsa are in a development and change phase. You enjoy working together with others and have an unpretentious approach. You are attentive, flexible, and see opportunities to find solutions that work for everyone. When the pace is high or when you face setbacks, you handle it constructively and provide stability even in situations that require extra effort. Furthermore, you work in a structured manner and have the ability to plan and organize your work efficiently. You take responsibility for driving tasks from start to finish and ensure that what you begin is also completed. To perform this job to the best of your ability, we see the following requirements: Academic degree in HR/Personnel or equivalent experience that the employer deems equivalent Good ability to express yourself in writing and speech in Swedish Class B driver's license Merits Experience with competency-based recruitment and recruitment within public sector operations Several years of experience with broad operational HR work Experience with co-determination agreement (MBL) negotiations Good knowledge and current experience in labor law advice Experience with manager support in all HR matters Good knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation, systematic occupational health and safety work, rehabilitation, and experience working with these processes At SiS we care about good employee relations.
