About the Client Company
Our client is a leading international player in the installation, service, and maintenance of elevators, escalators, and moving walkways. The business operates in over 200 countries, and their installations keep people moving every day—from residential buildings and shopping centers to some of the world's most iconic structures. This assignment is located in the Stockholm area.
Our client is growing and is now seeking an elevator technician. In this role, you will have a key function in ensuring safety and operational reliability for passengers and customers. You will work with preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of existing installations, as well as planning and executing service and installations. You will operate from your own service vehicle and build strong relationships with customers on-site.
Your Responsibilities:
Perform service and preventive maintenance on elevators, doors, and escalators within your area
Responsible for planning and executing service and installations
Troubleshoot and proactively address operational disturbances to achieve high operational reliability on the installations in your portfolio
Perform minor repairs for continuous operation and report when larger interventions are needed
Collaborate directly with customers on-site and build a good working relationship
Who Are You?
You are a dedicated professional with safety as your top priority. You have solid knowledge of electrical systems, electronics, hydraulics, and mechanics, and are comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and digital aids. You are curious, adaptable, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. You communicate well and build trust when meeting with customers.
Requirements for the Position:
B-class driver's license (all technicians have their own service vehicle for daytime work and on-call duties)
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as the work involves dialogue with customers and users
Merits:
Experience working as an elevator technician
Background as an electrician and/or mechanic
Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
Application:
The position is full-time, 100%, with working hours 07:00–16:00. Start date to be agreed upon. The position includes on-call duty every sixth week, meaning that after regular working hours you will also resolve urgent operational disturbances during evenings and weekends.
You will start as a consultant at Miljonbemanning, with the goal of transitioning to direct employment with our client.
