Herrestorpskolan is located in a peaceful and pleasant area on the eastern outskirts of Vellinge. The school has approximately 480 students, grades F-9. Buses to and from Malmö run 3-4 times per hour. Over recent years, the school has undergone renovation in several phases. We now have an accessible and modern learning environment adapted to today's and tomorrow's needs. There are opportunities to use the facilities flexibly to meet each student's needs. All grades are housed in the same building, but the different stages have separate departments. The library and school cafeteria are located in the school's center and serve as natural gathering places. The school also has a large and well-equipped gymnasium that opened in September 2019. JOB DUTIES We are now seeking a German language teacher at Herrestorpskolan for teaching German in grades 6-9 during the spring term 2026. The position is a parental leave substitute role at 50-100%, where German instruction corresponds to approximately 50%. Based on preferences and qualifications, a full-time 100% position is possible, potentially including other subjects. You are a confident and clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create a learning environment where every student can develop optimally. As a teacher with us, you conduct work that places student learning at the center. You are a dedicated teacher who can inspire and motivate students in their knowledge development. You have positive expectations of students and the ability to communicate these in a motivating manner. You approach student perspectives when, together with other staff and leadership, you organize, conduct, and develop the school. You collaborate easily and communicate well—your students know what they can do, where they're going, and how to get there. As a teacher at Herrestorpskolan, you work closely with qualified and licensed colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS Qualified teacher with experience teaching German Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
