Health and Safety Manager We are looking for an experienced and committed Health and Safety Manager to ensure a safe and secure working environment within an international project at a data center. In this role, you will be responsible for both operational and preventive health and safety activities. You will ensure compliance with applicable legislation, safety procedures and project-specific requirements. You will work closely with project management, site management, contractors and other personnel on site. Key responsibilities Lead and coordinate the project's health and safety activities Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections and site safety walks Identify hazards and recommend and follow up on corrective actions Ensure that employees and subcontractors comply with all applicable safety procedures Investigate, document and report accidents, near misses and safety-related non-conformities Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks and safety meetings Prepare, maintain and follow up on health and safety documentation Cooperate closely with the client's project management and Health and Safety team Promote a strong and proactive safety culture throughout the project Mandatory requirements A valid NEBOSH qualification in occupational health and safety A valid IOSH qualification or relevant professional IOSH membership Documented experience as a Health and Safety Manager or in a comparable position Strong knowledge of risk assessments, incident reporting and preventive safety management Professional proficiency in spoken and written English Strong administrative skills and experience in preparing health and safety documentation Ability to work independently and make informed decisions on health and safety matters Previous experience from construction, installation, industrial or data center projects is considered an advantage. Applicants must state which NEBOSH qualification and IOSH qualification or membership level they hold. Copies of relevant certificates and supporting documents must be provided before employment. You should have the ability to engage with personnel at all levels and promote a high level of safety awareness throughout the project.
